ARCHAELOGY OF BEASTS

A large-scale multimedia solo exhibition by Kuwaiti artist Monira Al Qadiri at BOZAR, Brussels — exploring the relationship between humans, animals, and power through the lens of Ancient Egypt, interweaving myth, climate, and geopolitics. I contributed across all three experiential parts of the installation: building and compositing the scene for the immersive wall-mapping room; working on the corridor featuring the talking statues, where 3D-scanned Egyptian deities recite excerpts from the Book of the Dead; and serving as Unreal Engine artist for the VR experience Aaru, developing the environment that transports viewers into the Ancient Egyptian afterlife.
