Syncretic Pilgrimage

2022

Overview

This thesis explores the architectural manifestation of Syncretic Pilgrimage within a speculative post-human future. Situated in the Hermel landscape, the project proposes "The Epicenter"—a monumental structure that serves as both a living record of history and a vessel for future transcendence. By dismantling the strict dualism between the biological and the mechanical, the design creates a space where humans, machines, and landscapes coexist as equal users. The architecture is envisioned not as a static object, but as a simultaneous monument and ruin, recording past events while actively generating new ones.
